Swirl the flask in the warm water bath as the solvent evaporates. Once the solvent has evaporated, slowly turn the three-way valve to vent the flask.
Observations:
time required to concentrate was about two minutes
liquid bumping observed during evaporation
Repeat this process until all of the samples have been concentrated.
