TLC t=0 Spot

Use a TLC capillary tube taped to a boiling stick to sample the initial reaction mixture.

This video shows a round bottom flask sitting in a sandbath with a black mixture stirring inside. A glass capillary descends from above into the mixture and is removed after liquid is inside the capillary.

Spot this t=0 sample on the second lane of your TLC plate.
