Jacobs Project Support (JPS), and Jacobs Self-Service Printing (JSSP).

JPS was created to support research, academic, and co-curricular projects with technical fabrication support, virtual design support from our Design Specialists, and pick-up arrangement. JPS offers a variety of fabrication methods, including laser cutting, 3D printing, and most of our other rapid prototyping processes. This is offered campus-wide, with project facilitation prioritized by user tiers. JPS is free to use with the exception of material costs.

JSSP is our remote 3D printing service, offered to all current Berkeley staff, faculty, and students. This service is exclusively for 3D printing on our Ultimaker 3D printer fleet and allows users to manage their model library, slice models for printing, and remotely submit print jobs. JSSP is a free service, including access and materials.
