Hosted by BAIR Lab's Speech Group, this is the first workshop for Speech AI for Healthcare and Education, aiming to bring together researchers, practitioners, and students to explore how advances in speech and language technologies can transform healthcare and education. We will discuss how speech AI can address real-world challenges such as improving accessibility, supporting diagnosis and therapy, enhancing learning experiences, and enabling more natural human-computer interaction. Through talks, demos, and discussions, participants will gain insight into emerging opportunities and open research problems at the intersection of speech technology, medicine, and education.
