Azerbaijan is ethnically cleansing 120,000 Armenians from their homeland in Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh). On September 19th, Azerbaijan launched a military attack on 120,000 Armenians in Artsakh, specifically targeting the regional capital of Stepanakert, as well as other cities and villages around the area. The onslaught of violence comes at the heels of Azerbaijan's nine-month blockade of the Lachin Corridor, effectively restricting Armenians in Artsakh from access to food, medicine, fuel, electricity, or contact with the rest of the world. Azerbaijan's onslaught has resulted in a mass exodus of ethnic Armenians from the region, and increasing reports of casualties and injuries affecting innocent civilians, women, and children. Aid is fatally scarce, and the road out of Artsakh is at a critical standstill. The Armenians of Artsakh require urgent aid and immediate action on behalf of the international community. Links to more information are provided below, and situation is quickly developing.
