Abstract

This project focuses on designing and beginning fabrication of a single-tower hydroponic system capable of continuous nutrient circulation. Engineering sketches, CAD modeling, and 3D-printed prototypes demonstrate that key components—such as the rockwool holders and internal slide—can be accurately produced using PETG. Although time limitations prevented printing larger parts, the completed prototypes confirm design feasibility and provide insight into print reliability and structural requirements. Backup plans, including a scaled-down windowsill tower and a shelf-based hydroponic setup, ensure continued progress and support future system development.
