As global commerce shifts toward a more digital landscape, companies have greatly reduced their need for large retail and warehouse spaces. This shift has caused a surge of vacant spaces that were once the centers of in-person operations for these businesses. PUHF aims to make use of these spaces and repurpose them into food-production community centers, where community members can easily access fresh produce, as well as participate in the production of the food that they consume.
