This is a performance based class. Classes are typically divided into these instruments, violin and viola/cello/bass. Students are responsible for renting or purchasing an instrument. Students who choose to play cello or bass may use a school instrument during class and keep their instrument at home for practice. Families who are having difficulty obtaining an instrument should contact the string teachers for assistance. The strings will perform 2 concerts (January & May).
