Spring 1 - Dinosaurs

On Friday 11th January Nursery discovered an egg in our outdoor area. The children discussed whether we should keep it outside or not.

"It might be cold" Shay

"It will get cold outside" Kayden

Nursery decided to take it into our classroom and found the perfect spot! The children also remembered that we needed to create it a nest, so took some materials in with us from outside.

We are going to keep our eyes peeled throughout the up coming weeks to see if it hatches but also to see if it's rightful owner comes to take it back.

Friday 18th January

Nursery have now been taking care of the mysterious egg for a week now and there haven't been any changes. Until now!! After returning from the playground, the Nursery children spotted the egg had begun to crack and had left a green slime on our floor. We kept a close eye on the egg for the remainder of the day but saw no further changes. Stay posted!

Snack is available (in addition to daily fruit) for 20p or £1 for the week.

Please ensure that every item that your child brings into school has their name on it.

Homework Tasks will be sent out on a Friday and needs to be handed back in by the following Wednesday, unless stated otherwise.

Please ensure your child brings their book bag along with Library book every Tuesday.
