Adult Basic Education

(ABE)

ABE offers programs for adults to improve their skills so they can move ahead in their jobs, prepare for further education, or improve their daily lives. Learn English, earn your High School Diploma or GED, prepare for the citizenship exam, or increase your reading, writing and math skills!

ABE ofrece programas para que los adultos mejoren sus destrezas, de modo que puedan avanzar en sus trabajos, prepararse para instruirse más o para mejorar sus vidas diarias. Aprenda inglés, obtenga su Diploma de Escuela Secundaria o GED (Diploma de Educación General). Nuestros afectuosos y pacientes maestros le ayudarán a lograr su objetivo. Classes are taught by instructors trained to teach adults, working at your pace and towards your goals. All ABE classes are taught free of charge to the learners. You must be at least 17 years old and not enrolled in a K-12 school.

English as a Second Language (ESL) & Citizenship: Students whose native language is not English can attend English as a Second Language classes to improve their English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.  Preparation for the US Citizenship Exam is also offered. 

Diploma Options:  Minnesota adults have three options to complete their diploma: local diploma, Minnesota State diploma or the GED. Contact us to get started with your studies. GED Test preperation includes instruction in all four of the GED content areas.

Brush Up on the BasicsThese classes are open to adults who want to improve basic skills in reading, writing, and mathmatics.
