Meet Mrs. Smith

My name is Mrs. Melissa Smith, and this is my 13th year as a library media specialist, but second year at Bennington Elementary. I previously taught at Lyons-Decatur Northeast School in Lyons, NE. I graduated from UNL with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education in 2008, and I received my Master of Science degree in Instructional Technology with a Library Media endorsement in 2013. 

I live in Wahoo, NE with my husband Jason and our twin girls, Abby and Emily (7). Jason is the 5th-12th grade band director at Wahoo Public Schools. We also have a yellow lab named Otto and two cats named Finn and Tiger.
