Well monitoring equipment purchased—Thanks! 

Thanks to all Bennett Valley residents who contributed to the BVCA’s capital campaign to acquire the well depth meter—every donation helped. We raised a bit over $1600 in dedicated funds to launch our well-monitoring project. A special thanks and a shout-out to Weeks Well and Pump, who put us over our goal with a generous $1000 donation. The funds helped us buy the meter, ancillary equipment, and to offset future maintenance we may need for the meter.

The Well Monitoring Committee will start with baby steps in October, and will be contacting well owners who opted-in to the project this last spring. As we become comfortable with the procedure, we will add more wells around the valley to help us all get a clearer picture of the condition of our aquifer(s).
