1. Find a copy of one of Lorca’s plays and read it - in Spanish or in English!
2. Ask someone you know who is going to Spain to bring you back some newspapers in Spanish and use these to make notes for the speaking exam topics.

1. Listen to some Spanish radio! You will hear some English-speaking artists that you know, and also discover some Spanish - speaking artists too.

1. Watch the Franco documentary on Netflix (4 episodes)
2. Watch Simon Reeve’s South America on BBC iPlayer (5 episodes)
Research
1. Search on UCAS for courses where you can continue with Spanish
2. Try to find out if your chosen universities offer study abroad opportunities, even if you don’t do a degree related to Spanish
Visit
1. Pop into Casa in Hope Street to look at the artefacts from men from Liverpool who went to fight in the Spanish Civil War
2. Go to the People’s Museum in Manchester (free entry) and see the exhibit related to the Spanish Civil War and the International Brigades
Creative
1. Make a revision tool for the subjunctive in Spanish - it could be a song, a video, a poster or a podcast, or something totally different.
2. Create an ad (poster or video) to sell studying a language for A-Level to Y10/11
