1. Watch Intouchables, one of the films that you will study as part of the A-Level course - available on Amazon
2. Watch The Climb on Netflix, a feel good film where you might be able to recognise some vocab you’ve learnt.
Research
1. Research a French-speaking city (or one of the French overseas islands) that you would like to visit in the future and make yourself an itinerary for your trip of the things you could see and do, and even where you could stay. Here is an example one for Tahiti, an island in French Polynesia: 1 Week in Tahiti
2. Research how you could link jobs/careers/companies that you are interested in to French in the future
Visit
1. Go to an art gallery like the Walker Art Gallery: Look at French artists featured there (Monet, Degas, etc.) and find out more about French Impressionism.
2. Go to a French/ Francophone restaurant and use your best pronunciation to order traditional dishes
Creative
1. Create an ad (poster or video) to sell studying a language for GCSE to Y7-9
2. Create an ad (poster or video) in French to get students from France to come visit Liverpool to study English!
