BP Engineering Scholarship Program
This engineering scholarship program aims to bridge the knowledge gap between K-12 education and university success, establishing a strong foundation throughout college. This program provides transferable skills development, experiential learning, an introduction to the energy industry and a mentoring offer.

• Must attend the 4 -day program in Houston, TX (July 28 -31)
• Must agree to participate in 1 -hr monthly mentoring sessions with bp engineer from Sept 2026 – May
2027

Abner E. Jackson Scholarship
The Abner E. Jackson Memorial Scholarship fund was established with memorial contributions received upon the death of Mr. Jackson. He passed away on November 3rd, 1995 at the age of 72. He was a firm supporter of the youth of our area and contributed his time and efforts when possible to help better their education possibilities. Mr. Jackson was associated with the educational field in an indirect way as the owner and founder of Tesco Industries, Inc. in Bellville. Tesco is a nationally recognized manufacturer of library furniture and Tesco’s furniture is in our libraries of the Bellville School system. Mr. Jackson was a firm believer in hard work, determination and honesty. Mr. Jackson attended Bellville High School and was a member of the 1938 regional football team. He was inducted into the BHS Hall of Honor. Ironically, he died while attending and supporting the Brahmas at a Bellville High School football game in 1995.
Eligibility:
Applications are available from the guidance counselor’s office at Bellville High School. Eligible students are required to submit completed applications to their high school counselor no later than May 8th. Each applicant must include with his/her completed application two letters of recommendation; 1 from a coach and 1 from another teacher. The selection committee will choose a scholarship recipient based upon the following criteria:
** A student who has participated in at least one of the divisions of the athletic program
** A student who does not receive a full scholarship
**A student who demonstrates an eagerness to continue in his/her education

2026 Austin County Cow-Calf Scholarship
Eligibility:
Applicant must be a May 2026 High School graduate from a high school in Austin County.
Open to public, private, and homeschool students, provided they can produce an official transcript.
Applicant must be majoring in an agriculture degree, or similar field.
Applicant must attend an institution of higher education, university, college, or technical school beginning in Fall 2026.
