Miss Smith
Hi everyone! My name is Miss Sandy Smith and I am so thrilled to be working with the 5th grade team at Bell Oaks Upper Elementary School. I graduated from Rowan University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a certificate in Literacy Studies for Educators. I am in my third year of teaching, and I am excited to focus on teaching English Language Arts! I am also Bell Oaks' Drama Club advisor -- keep an eye out for information! I believe that every student is a unique individual with a plethora of opportunities in front of them, each capable of success. Students should be surrounded by a safe and motivating environment, with their various methods of learning being accepted and encouraged. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading, petting my cat, and spending time with my friends and family.
