What is a School Counselor?

A school counselor is someone who has a genuine interest in others and wants to make a difference in their community. That someone is ME!

My mission is to maximize the potential of all students by empowering them to do their personal best academically, socially, and emotionally, while developing the appropriate knowledge, mindsets, and behaviors to become effective students.

I will do this through individual counseling, short-term small counseling groups, classroom lessons on a variety of topics including SEL and Executive Functioning, and consultation between teachers and staff to best meet the needs of my students and their families.
