What is Distance/E-Learning?
The term “Distance Learning Day” refers to a school day when, instead of coming to a school building, teachers and students communicate and engage in learning activities online through OnCourse, Google, Email, or other learning platforms. Teachers share assignments and hold virtual office hours while students complete assignments and activities while receiving guidance from teachers.
What is the purpose of Distance/E-Learning?
To continue providing meaningful learning with an innovative solution for all students on inclement weather, or emergency days.
To maximize our investment in 1:1 technology.
To allow our students the opportunity to practice the kind of online learning that is increasingly part of both college and the workplace.
