Apple is an easy place to start. The apps come from the App Store, so there are fewer hiccups. It is also great if you want to watch on the go.
Apple works a little differently from Fire Sticks and Google devices. There is no Downloader app and no number codes. You get the app straight from the App Store.
Two things every app must do for us: show a live TV guide (EPG), and let you sort movies and shows by most recently added. If an app can't do both, we don't use it.
1. Make sure your device is connected to your Wi-Fi.
2. Make sure you are signed in with your Apple account.
3. Need help with the device itself? Ask Apple. They look after their own hardware.
iPhone, iPad, MacBook Air or Mac mini:
Use Smarters Player Lite. It works well on all of these.
1. Open the App Store.
2. Search for: Smarters Player Lite
3. Tap Get (or Install). Then open it.
Use IPTVX. Smarters Player Lite does not work well on Apple TV, because it does not work with the Apple TV remote. IPTVX does.
1. Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
2. Search for: IPTVX
3. Select Get (or Install). Then open it.
Tip: when IPTVX starts, a pop-up or two may show up. Close them and keep going. You only need to get to the login screen.
Some apps in the App Store charge for the app or for extra features. That money goes to the app maker, not to us.
When you open the app, you will see a screen asking you to log in or add a profile.
You are at the login screen. Great job, stop here. Do not type anything yet.
1. Press the Home button (or swipe up) to leave the app.
2. Go back to the email you have with us and tell us you are at the login screen. Tell us the device you are using: iPhone, iPad, Mac or Apple TV.
3. Wait for our reply. It has your next steps.
Got here before emailing us? That is fine. Go back to the person who referred you. They will tell you to email us first.
What we can help with, and what we can't:
We can help you get set up and watching. The apps in the App Store belong to outside makers. We can't fix bugs in those apps, handle their updates, or change their fees.
Want the full Splash Player experience later? A Fire Stick or a Google streamer can give you that. Ask the person who referred you.
