4th grade Math
Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to 4th grade!! We are looking forward to an exciting and successful year. Please understand the importance of attendance, testing, and homework. It is imperative that we work together to help everyone succeed.
Each Monday, you will receive a week at a glance for each subject. It will list homework for each night and test days. Every Wednesday you will receive a yellow test folder with the test grades and conduct comments. Please sign it and return on Thursday. All of this information is also posted on our BCS website and parent command center online.
The classroom rules are as follows:
--listen and follow directions
--raise hand before talking
--stay in seat
--respect adults and classmates
--be prepared for class
--pay attention in class
Each conduct mark will take 4 points from the conduct grade. The students begin each week with a 100/A. Praise, positive reinforcement, stickers, candy, tiger bucks, and special privileges will be rewarded for good behavior.
The students will have 2 different colored take-home folders. The blue one is for Math, English, and Reading. The red one is for Science and Social Studies.
