Mr. Brown

8th/ELA

Hey Parents and Guardians,

Hope this letter finds you all doing great. As we gear up for a brand new school year, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself as the guy who's going to be diving into the world of English with your fantastic kids.

I believe in keeping things real and relatable in the classroom. Learning should be a journey that feels like an exploration, not a chore. My plan is to create a space where every student feels comfortable expressing themselves, asking questions, and even making a few friendly language-related jokes along the way.

Throughout the year, we're going to be delving into some interesting literature, flexing those creative writing muscles, and having conversations that'll make your kids think a lot. More than just acing exams, I want to ignite a genuine curiosity and appreciation for language and storytelling.

You know, I'm not just a teacher; I'm also here to team up with you. If you've got any thoughts, concerns, or just want to chat about how your child is doing, feel free to shoot me an email. I'll also be available to meet you during parent-teacher conferences.

I'm stoked to be part of the Beekman Charter School crew, and I can't wait to get to know your kids. Here's to an awesome year of learning, laughing, and linguistic adventures!

Sincerely,

Brennan Brown
