Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year!

My name is Chris Masling, and I will be teaching English II, Business English, Technical Writing, and WorkKeys this year.  This is year number 27 for me, and my first year at Beekman Charter School.  Years ago I taught at Bastrop High School, so there's a good chance I taught your parents.  

I am a graduate of Louisiana Tech University (1992, BA in English, 1995 MEd in English Education).  I have lived most of my life in Monroe.  

When I am not at work, I enjoy reading, playing games, and watching movies.
