Safety Protocols for all STEM Expo Participants
All STEM Expo Participants will have a Safety Level assigned to their project. Safety expectations and training will be based on the level of each project. As of 2023 all STEM Project records are being moved to the Accessit Library platform so the project safety levels will appear in the project's tags in it's library record (bit.ly/bstalib). Open your project and look under tags.
Basic Safety Precautions that Apply to all projects
Lab safety contracts will be provided to all students in their science classes. These requirements are expected to apply to the STEM Expo as well as at school. Safety protocols will be reviewed again shortly before the Expo.

If your project uses a chemical that you do not see at the above link, they are easily found online. Just Google SDS chemicalname. Then email Mrs. Pierce the name of the chemical at susan.pierce@beehiveacademy.org so she can add any missing SDS to our list.
