My Role:

Provide comprehensive school social work services to parents, students and school staff, addressing barriers that limit a student from receiving the full benefit from their educational experience.

As a team member in each schools Mental Health Support Team and the Special Education Eligibility Committee

• Provide direct services to students and families

• Assess the sociocultural environment of the student

• Assist families in accessing appropriate community resources
