Success for All

Each student in 1st-5th grade has been placed in a reading class based on their independent reading level. You should have received a letter from their SFA teacher. Your child has reading homework every night, Monday - Thursday. They are to read 20 minutes to someone. The student needs to write a response to their reading. It can be how they feel about what happened or it can be a prediction. We want it to be at least 3 sentences. That person (preferably an adult) must sign the Read and Respond sheet the student fills out. The students will be reassessed every nine weeks and placed in the appropriate level.
