BEDFORD WRESTLING

Over the past 20 years our wrestling team has always impressed me with their dedication to growth, improvement and developing a "family" atmosphere. When I became head coach in 2008, I was very happy to have the opportunity to grow the program even more.

Over the years our team has become well known for our toughness & sportsmanship. We have developed a style of wrestling, that if the athlete commits entirely to, will prepare them for national competition. Since 2008-09, Bedford has had multiple state qualifiers & placers as well as 2 collegiate national champions, 2 NFL players and 3 MMA competitors, all while coming out of the strongest district in the state and possibly the nation. 

The Bearcat Wrestlers have also hosted a charity event annually (Krushing Kancer) to help give back to those in need. To date the team has raised over $7000 to donate to Cleveland Clinic Cancer research.

With all that has been accomplished, what I am most proud of is our 100% graduation rate for all wrestlers who commit to the program throughout their high school years.

We do not promise championships, we never have, what we do promise is a life changing experience that will result in something much greater, which is seeing who you are as an athlete but more importantly, as a person.
