GCSE foundation reading. The paper will cover all topics studied so far at KS3. It will require students to understand opinions in German and to differentiate between past, present and future tenses

GCSE foundation listening. The paper will cover all topics studied so far at KS3. It will require students to understand opinions in German and to differentiate between past, present and future tenses

1 x writing paper:

This will be similar to previous written assessments and will include translation. The assessment will focus on topics studied in Year 9, but may include themes covered across KS3.

Helpful hints

Use Linguascope and Quizlet to help you revise vocabulary.

Remember to revise time phrases, connectives and adjectives.

Type words into Google Translate to hear the pronunciation.

Look at notes and corrected work from your book.

Make sure that you can give and justify opinions.

Revise the present, past and future tenses.

Use the Level Criteria sheet in your books – make sure that you know what grammar you need to include for your target level, and that you know how to do so.
