Andrew Beaty, P. Eng.

Andrew is a Professional Engineer registered in BC. He has over 12 years of experience working for large engineering consultancies, and independently, in the fields of hydropower and pump stations. A highly capable, well rounded engineer and project manager with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Hydropower Experience:

Over 12 years working in Canada and internationally on the development of hydro power schemes in the range of 2 MW - 200 MW. Energy modelling, hydrology, detailed design of structural and mechanical works, penstocks, intakes, and powerhouses. Financial models, equipment specifications, and construction supervision. Andrew's professional work in the Congo includes hydroelectric condition assessments and refurbishment of colonial-era Belgian hydropower plants.

Water Management and Pump Stations:

Early stage concept development through detailed design and construction supervision of pumping systems. Andrew works seamlessly with specialists in hydrology, hydrogeology, and other disciplines to design customized pump stations to suit the application at hand. Typical industries are domestic, oil & gas, mining, and construction. Applications range from small domestic water supply systems, construction site water management, to major sea-water pumping schemes, and mining water management. Andrew has experience working on projects in Canada, South America, Greece, Africa, and Indonesia.
