The Vietnam War

The Vietnam War is one of the most debated and controversial conflicts in U.S. history. The war wasn't like any other war we had ever fought in. This war was not fought for independence like the Revolutionary War, it was fought to protect another country from communism. Many things happened in and because of the war that changed the U.S. and the world to be what it is today. It affected people all over the place, whether it be in the country of Vietnam or the U.S. For many reasons, this war should never be forgotten or put aside in the years to come.
