About Me
Hi! My name is Riley Zagst, and I am a part of the graduating class of 2026. I have been involved in JAGS since my freshman year and have met some of my best friends and teachers. I am very grateful that I decided to join this program at the end of my 8th-grade year. I chose JAGS because it is a program where you can create long-lasting memories and explore the world around you. I have found some of my closest friends through it and have been able to expand my academics in a way that is more globally inclined. I have had so many cool experiences, like traveling to Costa Rica and enriching my Spanish-speaking skills.
A huge part of my life is my sport of gymnastics. I have been a gymnast for about 15 years and on my club team for 9 of those years. I also participate in high school gymnastics, where I have lettered for all 4 years. Participating in club and high school gymnastics has brought me some of my closest friends, memories, and skills that I am grateful for every day.
For future plans, I intend to major in nursing on a 4-year BSN track. I plan to become a pediatric nurse and may even go back to school to become a practitioner. I believe this is a great path for me, as I love working with kids and have a large interest in the medical field. I am also a very empathic and patient person.
