My JAGS Experience

jlJAGS has been such a big part of my life for the past four years. I genuinely feel that I have taken so much away from the program. I have been able to experience so many different perspectives through my time at Heifer Global Village and the work I have done at our Global Opportunities Night. Taking part in the National High School Model United Nations Conference in New York City was one of the most valuable experiences I have had in the program. I was able to communicate my ideas with people from around the world and I did extensive research about a topic that is relevant to our generation. And finally, traveling to Italy with my classmates was such an amazing experience and something I will hold with me forever. Being immersed in a different culture and experiencing a new country is so valuable. I not only learned so much, but I grew closer to my peers and created long-lasting memories. JAGS has helped me to be involved in so many unique experiences and it is something I will take with me in my future endeavors.
