Dear Parents and Carers,

At last! Summer has arrived...

...and suddenly we have to worry about caps, suncream and extreme heat.

Thank you for working with us to find the best ways of managing all of this, in particular sun cream, about which there is more information further in this newsletter.

Today, we had our first 'hot' play instead of 'wet' play with the children staying inside at lunchtime. They all seemed quite excited by it and have been really balanced looking after themselves by being calmer to stay cooler and drinking lots of water.

We had another first this week, collaborating with Snowfields Academy pupils to select and pot the plants that the horticulture students had grown. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it and we are pleased that all pupils got the opportunity to take part in the end. Your glowing feedback and appreciation was lovely to hear and has been passed onto the students and staff of Snowfields Academy.
