Summer Music Camps

Band, Orchestra, and Chorus

Middle School and High School

If your student enjoys playing their instrument, and would like an exciting and enriching experience, consider summer music camp! Many area colleges and universities offer summer band, orchestra, choral, and theater music camps.  These give students an away from home experience on a college campus.  The students participate in an ensemble made up of fellow musicians (usually divided by middle and high school age). The days are filled with  a mix of lessons, full band rehearsals, and other musically enriching activities, along with some time to just relax and have fun. They are usually 4 or 5 days long. Some camps offer a commuter option. Places that offer camps include UW Madison, Platteville, Stevens Point, and Whitewater, as well as Maranatha College in Watertown.  A quick internet search will pull up tons of possibilities!  Check out the links below for some specific camps.
