This course introduces students to Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), commonly known as Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding. Building on foundational welding skills, the course emphasizes precision, technique, and control required for high-quality welds on a variety of metals. Designed as a follow-up to Level One, the course provides students with foundational knowledge and hands-on experience to expand their welding skills.

Course Highlights:
TIG Welding Fundamentals: Learn the principles, characteristics, and applications of the TIG welding process.
Equipment Setup: Understand the key components of the TIG welding system, including power sources, torches, electrodes, and shielding gases.
Materials and Techniques: Develop hands-on skills welding mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum, with a focus on proper joint preparation, filler selection, and heat control.
Safety Practices: Practice safe handling and operation of TIG equipment, with emphasis on protective gear, ventilation, and electrical safety.
Additional Requirements:
Students must bring an auto-darkening welding helmet and all necessary safety equipment. Specific requirements will be discussed during the first class.
