This course is designed to provide students with basic terminology and essential skills needed in a dental assisting career.  

In addition, it will prepare you to take the DANB Radiation Health and Safety certification test.  This course will provide you with the information and training needed to produce quality dental radiographs.  

Course Highlights:

• Skills covered are chair side assisting, sterilization techniques, instrument identification, safety and patient care.  

• Purpose and Technique of dental radiographic images.

• Dental Radiation Health & Safety certification test*.

*Fee for the radiology exam will be the student’s responsibility. 

**Each course requires a $10 technology/facility fee.

Courses are subject to minimum enrollment requirements and decisions regarding cancellation will be made in advance of class start date when possible. Allow 4 to 6 weeks to process a refund.
