HI! I’m Mrs. Crabtree, and I’m so excited to be your second grade teacher. This will be my 27th year teaching elementary school. In addition to teaching 2nd grade, I have taught 3rd, and 5th grades. I was born and raised in West Virginia until I moved to NC in late 1990’s.  I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education at West Virginia State College with a degree in Elementary Education. I have been married to my amazing husband, Chad, for 26 years and we have 1 son, Chase,  attending North Carolina State. Go Wolfpack! In my free time, I enjoy praying, singing, going to the beach and relaxing with my family.  I am looking forward to this school year! It’s going to be great!

Hello!! I am Mrs. Freeman, and I'm excited to be your 2nd grade teacher. This will be my 20th year in the elementary education. In my years of teaching, I have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades. I have been a Brunswick County transplant since 2016. I received my Bachelors degree in K-6 Elementary Education with a Reading Concentration from North Carolina University of Pembroke. I am a wife, mother, and Gigi to my husband, 3 fur babies, Molly, Dusty, and Lulu, my 2 adult children and the sweetest grandson. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and binge watching Lifetime movies.

Hi! I'm Mr. Ky; this will be my third year in education!  I have three siblings (one brother and two sisters). I have six fantastic nieces and nephews!  I graduated from the illustrious North Carolina A&T State University and am pursuing my Master of Arts in Teaching from the esteemed UNC-Wilmington. In my free time, I am a part of a social Fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi.  I also enjoy swimming, singing, playing basketball, and most of all spending time with my family.

I am very excited to start the new school year and look forward to getting to know you and your spectacular second grader!

My strongest desire is to be the teacher I searched for as an adolescent. So that my students understand the strength of their safety, knowledge, and success.
