Meet the Team!
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics
This class gives a hands-on approach to each topic and helps to integrate problem solving and creativity.
The students will be given different leveled problems and questions that they will have to imagine and create a way to solve it. They will be working with teams to then create, test, and improve their creations and take time to reflect on the process and their outcome. Throughout each step the students will be asked to describe each step through writing. They will note each step of the process through their writing and then give a final reflection that they will be asked to support using data from their creations.
Each student will be given a different group job that they will use to contribute to their team. They will be able to build problem solving skills, teamwork skills, and life skills they will need to be active citizens in society.

Health and Physical Education classes are designed to practice and develop skills in activities that will help students maintain and improve their fitness throughout life.
We will participate in fitness tests which we will use to set personal fitness goals. We will then explore physical activities that will improve our level of fitness. We will be playing well known sports such as basketball and volleyball, but also some different games that may be new.
It is important that all students come to class prepared for physical activity on their PE day. This means athletic shoes that will keep them and their classmates safe. Safety is our number one priority.
I look forward to seeing you all and working together to stay healthy!
