Hi there! I am starting my eighth year teaching chemistry at SBHS and my 14th year teaching overall. I graduated from UNC Greensboro with a degree in chemistry as well as my teaching certification. I became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2022. I am the 2026-2027  Teacher of the Year for SBHS and also the 2026-2027 Wilmington Corning STEM Teacher of the Year.

My husband is a pilot, and I have two sons.
