I am the ESL Teacher/Facilitator for Multilingual Learners at Town Creek Elementary School and
Virginia Williamson Elementary School.

A little about me: I have been teaching for 24 years.  I spent 20 years teaching general education and special education for grades K-6. I also lived in Europe and taught students from several different countries to speak,
read and write in English.  Before joining the ESL department, I taught at Leland Middle School as a Language Arts Teacher (6th grade) and Spanish Enrichment Teacher in grades 6-8.  

I have two sons in college and
a dog named Sandi.
Four years ago, my  husband and I decided to
move our family from New Jersey to North Carolina.  We are very happy to be in a sunny and warmer state!

My hobbies include: photography,  pottery, biking and going to the beach.  

I will do my best to support your family and any way I can during this school year.

¡Hola! Soy la maestra/facilitadora de ESL para estudiantes multilingües en la Escuela Primaria
Town Creek y la Escuela Primaria Virginia Williamson.No duden en contactarme por Class Dojo o por correo electrónico si necesitan mi ayuda.Un poco sobre mí: He estado enseñando durante 24 años. Pasé 20 años enseñando educación general y educación especial para los grados K-6. También viví en Europa y enseñé a estudiantes de varios países a hablar, leer y escribir en inglés. Antes de unirme al departamento de ESL, enseñé en la Escuela Secundaria Leland como maestra de Artes del Lenguaje (6° grado) y maestra de enriquecimiento de español en los grados 6-8.Tengo dos hijos en la universidad y un perro llamado Sandi. Hace cuatro años, mi esposo y yo decidimos trasladar nuestra familia de Nueva Jersey a Carolina del Norte. ¡Estamos muy felices de estar en un estado soleado y más cálido!Mis pasatiempos incluyen: fotografía, cerámica, andar en bicicleta e ir a la playa.Haré todo lo posible por apoyar a su familia de cualquier manera que pueda durante este año escolar.
