Meet the Teacher

Welcome to South Brunswick Middle School

My Name is Mrs. Smith. I will be your 8th grade Social Studies Teacher. I am a Brunswick County native, and I`m extremely grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to the community that helped mold me into the individual I am today. I`m excited to be teaching in Brunswick County and being part of educating our next leaders!

I am a lover of French fries, and good laughs. My aim this year and every year is to help students achieve their goals by creating and establishing an inclusive, safe, and encouraging learning environment.

I graduated from South Brunswick High School and shortly after completed my Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. UNCC is also where I received my middle school social studies teaching certification.
