Hello! I am a NJ native who has been teaching high school English in NC since 2003. I graduated with my BA from NC State University and earned my MSA (Master of School Administration) from UNC-Pembroke. Not only am I a proud Scorpion, but my I m the proud mom to a current Scorp and an NBHS graduate! 

I am a punk rock literature nerd who loves helping teenagers understand and navigate the nuances of communication. My goal is to develop curious critical thinkers who can read, write, listen, and speak effectively. In my English classes literature is an interdisciplinary adventure where students will also dive into psychology, sociology, anthropology, history, and life skills. I geek out over my content and I hope to instill this same love of discovery and understanding in my students!
