I graduated from high school in Virginia Beach, and had the opportunity to play soccer in college at Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, West Virginia. At Davis and Elkins, I earned by BS in Psychology. From there, I worked in the human service field for several years before finding my passion for teaching in 2000. I have worked in the North Carolina school system since this time and had the opportunity to move to North Brunswick High School in 2024.

Outside of the classroom, I spend enjoy biking and camping with my family and spending time with our rescue pup "Karma". On the weekends you may also find my in Lowe's as "your appliance guy" as a second job.
