My name is Jessica Barber. This is my first year in Brunswick county but my 21st year in education. I'm so excited to be a part of the Shallotte Middle School Family.  My goal is to have a a great school year and help each student succeed. My job includes working with students who are at risk of academic failure. I support teachers by ensuring that we are adhering to MTSS protocols and that each child is receiving the assistance they need. I also want to support parents by helping them to understand their child's needs and what we are doing to support them.
