I have been the Athletic Director for Cedar Grove Middle for 15 years and in public education for over 20 years. I am also the Head Boys Basketball and Football Coach. I am a graduate of North Carolina Central University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education and Health Education. Sports has always been a huge part of my life. Sports gives students the opportunities to learn new skills, make new friends, build their confidence through collaboration and team work. Here at CGMS we focus on teamwork, sportsmanship, resilience, and hard work. We enjoy watching our student-athletes grow in the classroom as well as on the athletic playing fields.
