Hello and welcome to 6th grade Math and Science! My name is Jessica Cox, and I’ll be your Math or Science teacher this year. I’m so excited to get started, but first, here’s a little about me.

I grew up in a small town just north of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, called Slippery Rock. In 2008, I moved to North Carolina to begin my teaching career and have called it home ever since. This year marks my 17th year in education and my second year here at Cedar Grove Middle.

Outside of school, I’m a proud mom of two wonderful kids and a boxer named Roscoe who keeps life fun and busy. I can’t wait to learn and grow together this year!
