I started my teaching career in 1974 in Maryland. My family moved to NC in the summer of 1982 and I began my career at South Brunswick in the fall of 1982. I have been teaching here ever since and still have no plans on retiring (yet).

I married my high school sweetheart Kim in 1972 - we have two children.  son Shawn, a 1992 graduate of SBHS and daughter Erin, a 1994 graduate of Hoggard.  She attended middle school and high school with our very own principal Dr. Lewis.

I enjoy my books - at present I have over 11,500 paperbacks and hardbacks in my collection.  I also enjoy collecting Hawaiian style shirts - and wear a different one everyday to school.
