About Me

Hello, friends! I am Ms. Alercia, and I will be your fourth grade teacher this year. I have taught Pre-K, ESL online, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade. I earned my Bachelor’s in Elementary Education from the University of Mt. Olive in 2016 and my Masters’ in Elementary Education from UNCW in 2018. I am a National Board certified teacher in language and literacy.

Some fun facts about me: I am a mega-fan of fantasy author Brandon Sanderson; I love to challenge myself with strength training ; I did three mission trips in Haiti ; I have three children, ages 23, 15, and 10, as well as three step-children, ages 21, 14, and 7.
