Hi there! This is my fifth year teaching--my second at West. I graduated from Davie County High School  in 2005, and then I attended East Carolina University where I majored in English and obtained a secondary education licensure. Outside of school, I love spending time with my daughter and son. I am an avid reader and read 5 books over the summer. I can’t wait to learn more about you! This year, I am most looking forward to facilitating discussion days and conferencing in writing workshops with all of you; I already love each of you and have spent hours researching and pouring over the information available before even meeting you.  I want to help you in your education journey and help you find success in the English classroom.
