Greetings,

My name is Wayne Hamlin. I graduated from Enka High School in 1989. I attended UNC-Wilmington as a North Carolina Teaching Fellow and started teaching at Olympic High School in Charlotte, NC in the fall of 1995. In 2000, I returned to Buncombe County and taught at North Buncombe High School for 5 years. In 2005, I began teaching at TC Roberson High School and became Nationally Board Certified. I have a NC300 teaching certificate which allows me to teach all sciences, except Biology. During my summers at TC Roberson, I have enjoyed the opportunity to complete Nuclear Physics research through Oak Ridge National Laboratory and complete graduate studies in Physics through NC State University.
