A week of fun and learning on your instrument
Open to all rising 7th - 12th students with at least one year of playing experience. Everyone welcome!
Camp runs from 8:30 - 3:30 each day
FINALE student performance Friday at 2:30
Cost is $100 if payment is postmarked by June15th - $120 if postmarked after June 15th.

Elective Descriptions
Old Time and Celtic Fiddle - Learn a traditional fiddle tune or two by ear, as well as common fiddling techniques and bowings in an engaging and fun environment
Beginning Acoustic Guitar - Learn basic chords and technique on guitar. Bring your own acoustic or classical guitar or borrow one of ours (loaner guitars are limited, so sign up soon if you want to borrow a guitar)
Electronic Music - Learn how to electrify your playing and learn about the world of amplification, effects, looping, and more. You will have a chance to play with amplifying your instrument in a fun, creative environment
Improvisation - Explore your creativity with the talented Ashlee Booth who will show you various ways to create your own melodies and sounds on your instruments. You will learn skills that will help you connect with your music like never before
Chamber Group - Play music with a small group of students your age and explore chamber music repertoire through sight-reading and practicing with a potential performance at the final concert. Want to dig into some classical music? This is your chance!
Instrument Switch Party - Learn a second instrument. These sessions will start you from scratch on violin, viola, cello, or bass in a beginning orchestra setting. Instruments will be supplied and offered on a first-come basis.
